‘Preludes to Nothing’ in Review:

“Preludes to Nothing,” choreographed by Mangulabnan, brought the dark auditorium to a hush as six center-stage dancers slowly outstretched and retracted their limbs. Movements started, paused, and began again, reflecting a central motif of change. Partners clothed in loose-fitting neutral reds, browns, and beiges entwined with one another, only to break apart. At one point, a solo dancer glided across the stage while the other five sank to the floor in unison.

From the first piece, the audience was enthralled.
